Women's Golf with another national podium; trio earn All-Canadian honours

QUEBEC CITY - Humber women's golf finished nationals with another podium, as OCAA 1 ended with a team silver medal, while OCAA 2 finished with a bronze. Individually, Madison Ouellette captured the silver medal, while Elaine Surjoprajogo finished with a bronze.

RSEQ 1 captured the gold medal after shooting even par on day two and never looking back.

Madison Ouellette captured her third straight national silver medal, finishing four strokes behind Mackenzie Cloutier from John Abbott. After a career-low one under par 71 in the opening round, Elaine Surjoprajogo won her first individual medal, while leading OCAA 2 to the team bronze medal.

Madison, Elaine, and Hayley McCallum also earned CCAA All-Canadian honours, finishing in the top-five individually.

Humber Highlights
  • Hayley McCallum became the first athlete in Humber history to be named a CCAA All-Canadian, five times.
  • Madison Ouellette became the first Humber women's golfer to have two or more rounds under par at a national tournament.
  • Elaine Surjoprajogo's opening round 71 was just the second round in Humber history under par at nationals (Maggie Trainer - 2008).
