VAUGHAN, Ont – Humber men's soccer will return to the pitch Mar. 21 for the 2019 OCAA Indoor Soccer Championship, hosted by Humber College. The Hawks open round-robin play at 10 a.m., with each match being streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.
After winning the outdoor provincial and national titles, Humber has the chance to complete the triple crown for the third time in program history (2001, 2015). No OCAA program has ever accomplished the feat before.
As the top-seed in Pool B, Humber will play George Brown at 10 a.m., followed by Centennial at 1 p.m., and Fanshawe at 4 p.m.
A depleted roster at regionals helped the Hawks qualify for the provincial tournament, finishing the day with a 1-0-2 record. Humber escaped as the top-seed after beating Mohawk on penalty kicks, 4-3.
Since 1994, Humber has claimed 14 indoor titles, three under the guidance of head coach Michael Aquino.
