ETOBICOKE - Humber men's rugby (5-0, 1st West) stayed undefeated in their final regular season game with a 75-5 win over Sheridan (0-4-1, 4th West). Prince Ndukwe and Joshua Dunbar both had hat tricks in the win.

It was seniors' night at Humber Valley Field. Among those recognized were Jason Barbato, Timico Smith, Prince Ndukwe, Seth Kirkham, Yuvraj Panaich, Adriaan Van Raaij, Ngatukumbe Kaukumangera, and Chandler Gemmill-Pardo.

Match Recap

It was another fast start for the best program in the OCAA, scoring less than five minutes into the game. Humber would convert on the try and make it 7-0.

Settling comfortably into the game, Humber scored another try and converted in the 8th minute. This time, it was a nice passing play through the offensive zone that left Case McFarland alone for an easy try. After the conversion, it was 14-0.

It was more domination from Humber after that. The next try would come in the 14th minute, with Prince Ndukwe running in his first try of the game like a freight train, putting the Hawks up 19-0.

Humber's physical dominance was the story in this one. Sheridan couldn't compete with the mix of size and strength that has allowed Humber to walk over just about every opponent they've faced this season.

After another Ndukwe try to make it 26-0, the Hawks wanted one more play before the half expired. It was Ndukwe again, who would go dancing through Sheridan's defensive try for one of the most agile scores of the season, and Humber would go into halftime leading 33-0, a familiar position for this team.

Back from the break, Sheridan struck first. A strong scrum pushed the Bruins into Humbers' try zone, and they made it 33-5 less than a minute into the half.

Humber would get back on the scoresheet minutes later, with Joshua Dunbar scoring his first of the match. The points would be converted, putting the Hawks up 40-5.

Dunbar would score again in the 52nd minute after a euro-step-esque move, making it 47-5 Humber with the convert.

Humber would score one more in the 54th minute before Sheridan would bear down. The Bruins held Humber back for the next 15 minutes but the Hawks would break through once again in the 69th minute. This time it was Gospel Ogoanah who made a beautiful move right at the try line.

Now leading 61-5, Joshua Dunbar would score his third try of the game, splitting two defenders to score the easy points. Case McFarland would convert on the points, giving the Hawks a 68-5 lead.

The Hawks would score once more before the end of the game, with Ivontaé Cambronne making an amazing end-to-end run. Humber would finish with a 75-5 win.
