The Storyline

Humber Rugby (5-2) will be playing for gold for the first time since 2014, taking on the Georgian Grizzlies (5-1) on November 12 in Barrie. Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Previous Meeting

Playing to clinch a spot in the postseason and earning a first-round bye, these two teams met on Oct. 14 in Valley Field. With time running out, Georgian broke through Humber's defence and scored a try on the final of the match, winning 26-22. Daniel Budic finished with a team-high seven points in the loss, while Shemar Shorter and Gospel Ogoanah recorded a try, each.

Scrum half Matthew Turco finished fourth in the league in scoring, recording 30 points.
The Grizzlies will make their fifth straight trip to the gold medal match, earning silver in four consecutive seasons.
Georgian is 1-0 against Humber in the postseason and have won three straight matches against the Hawks.
