OAKVILLE, ON: The Humber Hawks, participating in the new OCAA women’s rugby 7’s league, will look to be the first ever winners of the OCAA title on Saturday in Oakville at Sheridan College.

HAWKS SWEEP THEIR WAY TO RUGBY 7'S DIVISION TITLE

HAMILTON, ON: The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's team won all four of its games on Saturday, and have now clinched the division crown. With the wins, the Hawks record now sits at 14-2. Humber's only two losses came at the hands of the Conestoga Condors, but Humber made a statement this weekend with 42-0 victory.

KITCHENER, ON: The Humber Hawks women’s rugby 7’s team got the monkey off their back and rolled to a perfect 4-0 record on Saturday in the third round of league play. They headed into the day with matching 6-2 records with Conestoga, with the Condors handing the Hawks their only two losses. Humber responded with a convincing 32-12 win over Conestoga in game two on the day. After closing out the day with a tight win over Mohawk to end the day, they head into the fourth and final round in Hamilton with a one game lead over Conestoga. The Hawks sit with a mark of 10-2. Women’s Rugby, the sport that the Hawks have participated in since Women’s Rugby came into play a number of years ago, still operates, but only with the eastern based colleges.
