YEAR IN REVIEW: HAWKS CLOSE OUT SEASON WITH FOURTH PLACE FINISH

The Humber Hawks men's curling team finished round-robin play strongly at the OCAA championships, but could not build on their second place position, dropping the championship semi-final and bronze games by close margins on the final day of competition.

The Humber Hawks women's curling team were the only team to beat the eventual champs from Niagara, but tie-breakers dropped Humber to fourth in pool play, forcing another match up with Niagara. The Hawks lost the semi-final in an extra end, and then the bronze game later that same day.
