Bio

Brian Lepp is entering his eighth year in the Humber Office of Athletic Communications and his fourth year in his current role as head of the athletic communications department.

He was promoted to Coordinator, Sports Information and Marketing in May 2019 after serving under the leadership of Sports Information Director Jim Bialek since November 2015.

In this capacity, Lepp is the main spokesperson and media relations contact for the nation’s largest collegiate athletics program. He handles the direct publicity for all 20 of Humber’s varsity teams and is responsible for updating humberhawks.ca, writing, designing, and editing publications such as media guides and gameday programs, creating video highlights for all Humber teams while overseeing the Hawks Sports Network and working to keep Humber athletics the most visible program in the CCAA.

Before coming to Humber, he spent two years as the Intercollegiate Assistant at Niagara College where he helped with sports information and setup for each varsity team.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Lepp has also worked in professional sports with a pair of stints as a game-day ambassador with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2012 and 2013.

A 2010 graduate of Niagara College, earning an advanced diploma in Business-Accounting, he later earned a B.A. in Sport Management (Honours) from Brock University in 2015.

In 2021, Lepp was named the OCAA convenor for baseball.

A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), Lepp is a native of Niagara Falls and currently resides in Brampton.
