LANGFORD, BC -- The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's team will be traveling to British Columbia to compete in one of the top rugby tournaments in Canada.  Fresh off winning the first sevens title in OCAA history, the Hawks will now head west to compete against the best rugby programs U SPORTS has to offer.

The 7th National University Sevens Championship will be held at Rugby Canada's Centre of Excellence.  Rugby Canada selectors will be in attendance at the tournament to evaluate talent for the duration of the tournament.

Daniella Grant and Christina Branch, two players Rugby Canada is very familiar with, will be leading the Hawks on the field.  12 teams will be competing in the two-day event and Humber will be the only college program in the tournament.

Humber will face a tough round robin draw, including the OUA champions Guelph Gryphons.
