HAWKS MOVE INTO FIRST PLACE AFTER SWEEPING ROUND THREE
KITCHENER, ON: The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's team got the monkey off their back and rolled to a perfect 4-0 record on Saturday in the third round of league play. They headed into the day with matching 6-2 records with Conestoga, with the Condors handing the Hawks their only two losses.
Humber responded with a convincing 32-12 win over Conestoga in game two on the day. After closing out the day with a tight win over Mohawk to end the day, they head into the fourth and final round in Hamilton with a one game lead over Conestoga. The Hawks sit with a mark of 10-2.
