BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA: The Humber Hawks women's 7's rugby team have traveled to British Columbia to play in the most prestigious women's rugby tournament in the country. Humber is the only college team participating in the event.
The men's team have been regulars at this event, while this is the women's third trip to this competition.
Humber is led by Christina Branch, who is considered one of the top 7's players in the province, will lead this young Hawks squad.
The Hawks have been placed in a very difficult pool, but the charm of this event is that teams will be reseeded after the initial round robin, into different levels of play for playoff action.
