HAWKS NAIL DOWN 14TH STRAIGHTON SUNDAY IN SUDBURY

SUDBURY, ON: The second match of the Hawks two game road trip ended with another straight set win, as the men continue on their roll to make it 14 straight.

The Hawks asserted their dominance from the beginning, starting the first set up 5 points to make it 5-0 over the Cambrian Golden Shields. The Hawks continued to pressure the Golden Shields throughout the match; being led by outside hitters Dylan Devecseri, Kamyn Wilkins, and Clayton Blanchette (who broke the 600 career kills milestone this weekend).

The second set went similar to the first with Daniel Rhynold making his second performance of the weekend a memorable one. Daniel went on a 5+ point serving run at one point to give the Hawks a comfortable lead. The Shields had a late spark in the set but it wasn't enough to overtake the Humber Hawks.

In the last set, the Hawks continued to roll and won the contest by a substantial margin.

The Hawks return to play this Wednesday February 14th against the Fanshawe Falcons. The match is scheduled at home in the Hawks Nest at 6 pm for the women and 8 pm for the men. Humber is hungry for more, and looking to overtake the undefeated Fanshawe Falcons in a much anticipated battle.
