OCAA CHAMPION WATT RECEIVES HUMBER'S HIGHEST HONOUR

Conner was the best player on the best team in the OCAA this past year, and he has the credentials to prove it. He led the Hawks to their twentieth OCAA men's team golf crown, tops all-time in the OCAA, and snared individual gold as well. On the national stage, he was a big contributor to the team that returned to the national podium, finishing with the team bronze medal. It was his body of work throughout the grind of an extensive Fall tournament schedule that also contributed to his recognition as Hawks Male Athlete of the Year. He consistently scored well and obtained podium finishes in events in Ontario – Georgian College Team Champions/Individual Gold and in the USA – Mercyhurst (NCAA) Invitational Team Champions. There is good news ahead for the Hawks golf program, as Conner will lead the team into the Golf Canada University/College Golf Championships in June in Abbotsford, and he will return in the Fall to help defend the Hawks OCAA team title, and his individual crown.
