The Humber Hawks women's basketball program made OCAA history by becoming the first women's program to win a national championship in any of the main team sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer).
Trailing Holland College by two with eight seconds remaining, Ceejay Nofuente found Ruth Holland at the top of the key for a three-pointer. 'The Shot' by Holland secured Humber's first national title, defeating the Hurricanes, 50-49.
