Humber Highlights
  • Deans struck out 16 Seneca hitters in his second career start, establishing a new OCAA single-game record (Sept. 20, 2022). He tied that record two starts later against Durham.
  • It only took Deans four starts to break the OCAA single-season strikeout record of 50, previously held by Kyle Breitner of St. Clair in 2013.
  • On Oct. 13, 2022, Deans became the first pitcher in program history to record five victories in a season. After throwing four no-hit innings, Skoropadsky, Zwartz, and Hibbs combined to throw the program's seventh no-hitter.
  • Deans became the first player in program history to earn OCAA Pitcher of the Year honours.
  • Against Lambton on Oct. 1, 2023, Deans struck out 13 consecutive batters and became the second pitcher in program history to throw a perfect game (James Byrnes, 2014). He also surpassed Hall of Famer Steven Hough on Humber's career strikeouts list.
  • On September 28, 2024, Deans broke his own OCAA record, striking out 19 Huskies in seven innings of work.

  • Made 27 appearances for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies (NCAA DI) baseball team from 2020-22, recording 75 strikeouts in 70.1 innings of work.
