HAWKS LOOK DOMINANT IN SWEEP OF GEORGE BROWN

HAWKS LOOK DOMINANT IN SWEEP OF GEORGE BROWN

UPDATE: Humber swept the doubleheader, 14-0 in game one and 12-2 in game two; the wins move the Hawks to 4-3 on the year.

The Men's Baseball team, coming off their best effort of the season in a 15-5 win over Seneca, will be looking to keep the momentum going tonight when they head to George Brown for a doubleheader.

The games are make-up dates due to rain-outs earlier this month, and the Hawks will have an opportunity to leapfrog Durham for third with a couple victories. Right-fielder Brian MacDonald has been raking as of late, with eight rbi's in just sixteen at bats and a slugging percentage over .600. On the mound, OCAA All-Star James Byrnes has again led the way, with an era under three and a knack for silencing opposing bats in key moments.

Humber currently boasts Ontario's third strongest run differential, and things seem to be coming together for the blue and gold as the season nears its midpoint.

First pitch is 6:30pm at Bond Park, stay tuned for updates.
