Bio

Gerard came to the Hawks with quite a resume, one which included a Memorial Cup win with the likes of Doug Gilmour and Dale Hawerchuk. From the first time he stepped on the ice for Humber he was the most skilled defenceman the league has ever seen. He was a swift puck mover with a big shot, and although quiet and unassuming at times, carried a mean side that protected his goalie and kept opponents at an arm’s length. Accolades
