Bio

Marcelo was a leader, someone who could be counted on to provide both fire and skillful play. He did something unique to sport at any level, he made playing on the defensive side of the pitch distinctive, and brought a glamour to that position never seen before. And, did I mention his fire. Those who played with or against him, know why fire had to be mentioned twice.
