HAWKS STAY PERFECT THROUGH ROUND ROBIN PLAY

ANCASTER, Ont -- The Humber Hawks men's soccer team is headed to the medal round of the indoor provincial championship after breezing through the competition in the round robin.

The Hawks played four round robin games over a span of two days going undefeated while scoring 16 goals and allowing one goal, which came in the final game.

On day one of the tournament the Hawks took on Georgian and Durham College. The men went through them with ease winning the game against Georgian 5-0. In the second game the Hawks continued where they left off against Durham at the regional championships and defeated them by a score of 6-0.

Day two featured the Hawks going up against Confederation College, a team Humber only sees during the indoor season. Humber would finish the game with a 3-0 win. In the final game of the day Humber would defeat their West division rival the George Brown Huskies by a score of 2-1 to finish undefeated heading into the final day.

Jaineil Hoilett has scored in every game for the Hawks and leads the team in scoring with six goals, the player closest to him would be Luca Baldassarre with two.

Alex Jakma and Rahjae Grant combined for three shutouts for the Hawks.

Humber will now prepare for tomorrow's semi-final matchup against the St. Clair Saints at 11 a.m.
