HAWKS MEN'S CURLING NAMED OCAA TEAM OF THE WEEK
Humber, Men's Curling
Humber won its first-ever national championship in men's curling. The Hawks tied for the best record in the round robin at 5-2, but was relegated to the semi-final after losing the tiebreaker to Sault. Humber was down 6-4 in the semi-final against Augustana, but rallied to win 7-6, setting up an all-Ontario gold medal match with Sault. Humber avenged a 5-3 loss to Sault in the round robin winning 8-4.
