8:00 am vs Fanshawe

W 6-4  /  Record is 1-0
Recap: The Hawks had to open the championships against the OCAA and host Fanshawe Falcons, quite an unenviable test in itself. Humber struck early, but it was the Falcons that held a slim 3-2 lead at the break. Fanshawe extended the lead to 4-2 in the seventh. It was at this point when Humber took over, scoring 5 over the next three ends, including 2 in the 10th.

4:30 pm vs Mohawk

W 8-4 (9 ends) /  Record is 2-0

The Hawks got a rest by not playing in the second slot of the day and that seemed to help the Humber crew. They came out and ran to the lead for the second straight match by putting up a 2-spot in the first. Although the Mountaineers caught up at the break, it was the Hawks that once agaon played their best later in the game, scoring 5 over four ends. Down by four, the Mohawk squad chose to shake.

12 noon vs Augustana

W 7-5 / Record 4-1

In what was one of the most trying of matches on the day, it was the Hawks who prevailed. Although up 3-0 early, it was Humber who had to bear down after the break to hold of the Vikings. The key was only allowing Augustana a single point in the tenth and last end.
