WOMEN & MIXED TAKE HOME OCAA SILVER
PETERBOROUGH: The Humbr Hawks had a number of fine performances this past week at the OCAA Curling Championships, with the Women's and Mixed teams taking home identical silver medals.
The women lost in the final, giving up 4 midway through the match, and unable to make up that ground and eventually losing 8-6.
The mixed team headed into the 8th and final end with a lead, but surrendered 2 to lose 5-4.
The men's team lost its tiebreaker to Fleming in the morning, and finished fourth overall.
The women's team have qualified for the CCAA Championships, which will be held in Olds, Alberta.
