ALL CANADIAN SHUVERA LEADS HAWK TEAMS AT CCAA NATIONALS
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON: Kaitlin Shuvera, just as she did at the OCAA provincial championships, led all Hawk runners on the day at the 2016 CCAA National Cross Country Championships. Her tenth place finish earned her a 2016 CCAA All Canadian nod.
The Humber women's team finished in seventh place, and was not able to sustain their top spot of OCAA teams, as the Fanshawe Falcons came in sixth. The Hawks won the OCAA championship two weeks ago, while the Falcons were not on the podium.
The men also dropped back a spot in the battle of OCAA teams, as the Mohawk Mountaineers finished fifth, to the Hawks sixth. Top rated Fanshawe finished in second.
