HAWKS CAPTURE THIRD STRAIGHT WOMEN’S XC TITLE

KING CITY, ON: The Humber Hawks women's cross country team continue to dominate the OCAA, as with Saturday's team title, they have won three straight and five of the last six provincial crowns.

On an almost perfect day for a cross country running meet in beautiful King City, Humber scored 28, comfortably defeating the St. Clair Saints (50) by 22 points.

In the team scoring category, Humber placed 1, 6, 8, 23, 14, 17. The top four runners placing counts towards the team total.

Individually, Kaitlin Shuvera placed second, and was awarded the silver medal.

By virtue of their finishes, Shuvera and Ivon Jaimes were named OCAA First Team all stars, and Coby Phillips grabs a Second Team nod.
