The Storyline
No. 15 Humber women's volleyball (13-3, 2nd West) looks to continue its three-game win streak Feb. 13 when the Redeemer Royals  (8-9, 6th West) visit the North Campus Gym. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.

Last Time Out
The Hawks return from a two-game weekend ending against Cambrian and Boréal. Women's volleyball saw multiple Hawks hit new career highs, including athlete of the week Lauren Schneider who recorded a career-high 36 assists and 23 digs.

Previous Meeting
Led by freshman Hannah Petcoff with 11 kills and three aces, the Hawks held on for an intense five-set victory over the Redeemer Royals in Dec. 6. The final scores were 24-26, 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, and 15-13.

Scouting Redeemer

  • Freshman Abby Sluys leads the Royals offensively, with 195 kills and an average of 3.55 per set.
  • The Royals have an impact from the service line, led by freshman Jasmyn Stoffers who ranks first in the OCAA with 50 assists.
  • Humber holds a perfect 29-0 all-time record over the Royals.

Block Party
Shiann Williams is leading the league in blocks with 42, which ties her with assistant coach Kelly Nyhof for the fourth-most in program history. Nicole Nightingale holds the team record with 52, set in 1996.

Makin' Moves
Fourth-year right side Julia Watson sits 11th all-time with 464 career points at Humber. The Burlington native needs 22 more points to surpass Amanda Arlette (2003-06) for tenth place.

At the Helm
With Sunday's win, head coach Chris Wilkins recorded his 370th career victory.

No. 15 Humber will conclude the 2020 regular season on Feb. 16 against St. Clair (12-4, 3rd West). Game time is set for 1 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.
