END OF REGULAR SEASON ON TUESDAY WITH FIRST PLACE IN SIGHT

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks Women's soccer team is still searching for top spot after Saturday's loss to Sheridan.

The Hawks dropped the close match after allowing a 90th minute goal but most importantly Sheridan took over sole possession of first place in the central division.

The Hawks now face a must win game against the George Brown Huskies and hope that Sheridan either loses or ties which would allow Humber to reclaim and clinch top spot in the division.

The Hawks are also being pushed by the Seneca Sting who are just two points behind Humber. If the Sting win, they can jump over the Hawks in the standings if Humber drops points against George Brown. Seneca take on the Sheridan Bruins.

Humber and George Brown met just a few weeks ago in a game, which Humber dominated and took by a score of 4-1.

The Hawks have looked rather strong this season with the exception of the two losses. They are definitely one of the best ball moving teams in their division and are solid at every position on their roster.

Following the regular season closer, the Hawks will prepare for the OCAA Provincial Championships, which is being hosted by Fleming College in Peterborough.

The Hawks are looking to get back into placing in the top three after failing to do so last year for the first time since 2006-2007.

Tuesdays kick off against George Brown is at 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Park Stadium.
