2020 Humber Male Athlete of the Year: Zack Shurtleff
ETOBICOKE – During the Fall semester, Zack joined the newly formed Humber rugby team mid-season and led the Hawks to a postseason berth. In the bronze medal match, the Toronto native scored a career-high 16 points and was named man of the match.
Zack left the field and went off to the rink to join the Humber curling team, skipping the Hawks to a national silver medal.
In the provincial final, Zack made a brilliant chip and roll to force extra ends and with the hammer, he curled the final stone into the house to seal the come-from-behind victory for Humber.
