The Storyline
Humber women's basketball (1-1, 4th West) returns to the North Campus Gym Saturday afternoon for its 2018 home opener against Lambton (1-1, 4th West). Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.
Last Time Out
Behind a career-high 21 points from senior Leticia Lopez, the Hawks rolled to a 73-28 victory over Niagara (1-2, 7th West) on Nov. 1. Makeba Taylor recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Eboni Beals finished with a game-high 14 rebounds in the win.

Previous Meeting
On Jan. 19, 2018, Humber established a new OCAA record for most points scored in a game in a 125-29 victory over Lambton. The Hawks hit a program record 17 three-pointers in the win, shooting 45.9 per cent (17-of-37).
Aleena Domingo became the second player in program history to join the 1,000-point club.
Locked Out
In Humber's win at Niagara, the Hawks held the Knights to three points in the second half – the lowest total in Coach Sharma era. Niagara was held to one-of-25 (four per cent) from the floor in the final two frames.
