IMPORTANT WEEKEND AWAITS HUMBER RUGBY 7'S

The Storyline
The Humber women's rugby sevens team will head to Fleming for the East/West crossover tournament Oct. 13-14.

The Tournament
With the OCAA creating divisions for 2018, the Hawks will play in a two-day tournament to compete against each team in the east division.

Premiere Matchup
Sunday features the match that the OCAA rugby community has been waiting to see. Humber (6-0, 1st West) will play Algonquin (4-0, 1st East) in the battle of the unbeaten teams. The Thunder is the only program in the league that has yet to allow its opponents to score.

Algonquin is averaging 29 points-per-game, while the Hawks average 27 ppg.

League Leaders
All-star Cheyenne De Luca is leading the league in scoring with 66 points, 19 away from her career-high. Against Seneca, De Luca tied the OCAA single-game record with five tries. Christina Branch sits in second with 31 points, while Bianca Pienaar sits eighth with 21 points.

Streaking
The Hawks have won an OCAA record 30 consecutive regular-season games. Humber's last loss came to Conestoga on Oct. 1, 2016.

What's Next?
Humber will conclude the regular season on Oct. 20 at Seneca College.
