Men's Indoor Soccer Advances to Provincial Tournament

NORTH YORK – Humber men's indoor soccer concluded regionals yesterday, finishing unbeaten with a 3-0-1 record to finish in first place.

The Hawks opened the tournament with a statement victory, defeating Lakehead University 12-0, behind six tallies from Leaford Allen.

After tying Seneca in their third match, the Hawks needed a win to finish first over a tough UTM squad. Humber scored four unanswered goals to beat the Eagles and will enter the provincial tournament as a top-seed.

Pacing the way for Humber was the new Aurora FC duo of Leaford Allen and Damion Kaye. Allen – the 2019 outdoor scoring champion – finished with 15 points (seven goals, one assist) in four matches, while freshman standout Damion Kaye added 12 points (five goals, two assists) of his own.
