ETOBICOKE – The Humber softball program will host the Conestoga Condors (2-2, 3rd OCAA) Tuesday evening for its 2019 home opener. Game one is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.
Last Time Out
The Hawks (2-0, 2nd OCAA) opened the season with a doubleheader sweep at Mohawk on September 8. Presly Buchanan picked up the win in game one, while Meagan Muir recorded her first career victory in game two. Alexis Ferreira went 5-for-6 and stole six bases during the twin bill.
Scouting Conestoga
- After dropping their first two games to start the season, the Condors swept the St. Clair at Mic Mac Park on Sept. 8.
- Last season, the Condors finished the year with an 8-16 (.333) record.
- On Sept. 2, Humber beat Conestoga 14-0 in five innings. Meagan Muir threw a no-hitter.
- The Hawks are 12-4 all-time against the Condors at home.
