Shurtleff, Velasquez Earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week Honours
ETOBICOKE – Point guard Felicia Velasquez and rugby hook Zack Shurtleff have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Nov. 4 to Nov. 11.

Felicia Velasquez has helped Humber open the season with a 4-0 record. In Wednesday's home opener, Felicia stuffed the stat sheet as Humber beat No. 5 Fanshawe, 86-81. In 36 minutes of work, Felicia neared a quadruple-double, finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals.

Zack Shurtleff was named Man of the Match for Humber rugby Saturday, helping the Hawks capture the program's first provincial medal since 2014. In Humber's 33-22 victory over the Seneca Sting in the bronze medal match, Shurtleff finished with a game-high 16 points on two tries and three converts.
