Also referred to as "social sports", these activities are available to students, staff & faculty, regardless of skill level or playing experience.  Intramural sports & drop-in programs are designed to give participants an opportunity to learn & play various sports, earn campus recreation rewards & network with other participants while enhancing their overall campus experience.  

Programs are offered at various times & at different locatioins and may be schedule during the daytime, evening & on weekends.  Both indoor and outdoor sports may be planned (weather permitting).  Pre-registration is required for all league & tournament programs, either as a team entry or as an individual. The opportunity to earn participation gifts & championship prizes is available in all programs.

A student card, residence card or staff card along with a completed facility waiver is requried to access the gym facilities at each campus.

Intramural Hockey League

Ice hockey will run as a full-year league open to Humber & Guelph-Humber students in full-time academic programs.  Team (12-16 players) & Free Agent (single players) registrations welcome, including January 2025.  The season will be 15 games long, from October 2024 through March 2025. Games will not be scheduled during academic breaks or on long weekends or on Super Bowl Sunday.  Games will be played on Sunday nights (7pm, 8pm & 9pm) at Westwood Arena (90 Woodbine Downs Blvd.). 

Cost is $325.00+HST (full season) or $195+HST (January start).  A jersey & matching socks is included.  Fees are payable in the Recreation Office (A131) at Humber's North Campus OR in the Fitness Centre (2nd Floor) at Humber's Lakeshore Campus once registration is confirmed.  Visit A131 (North Campus) in person or email campusrec@humber.ca to sign up!
