Bio

Andrew DaSilva made an immediate impact when he joined the Hawks in 2008, leading the division in scoring with 12 tallies in 11 matches and earning his first of two consecutive CCAA All-Canadian selections.

The next season he moved from striker back to his natural spot in the midfield, leading Humber to an undefeated 11-0-1 regular season – becoming just the second player in program history to earn CCAA Player of the Year honours.

In his final season, he helped the Hawks capture the program’s sixth provincial title and a CCAA bronze – Humber’s first national podium finish in nine seasons.

After three seasons in the navy and gold, DaSilva retired sixth all-time in scoring with 19 tallies in 29 matches.

DaSilva's fine play was not limited to the outdoor pitch, as he led Humber to two OCAA indoor gold medals in the two years he competed for Ontario titles, once being named an OCAA Championship All-Star.

After being inducted into the Humber Hall of Fame in 2011, DaSilva was inducted into the OCAA Hall in 2017.
