WOMEN'S RUGBY 7'S DOMINATE ON ROAD TO OCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

OAKVILLE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's team displayed total domination as they rolled to the 2016 OCAA women's rugby 7's provincial title on Saturday at Sheridan College in Oakville. This was the inaugural year of women's rugby sevens.

Humber defeated the host Sheridan Bruins in the championship semi-final by a score of 52-0. Charlene Mocon was selected as the Humber Hawk player of the game.

In the final it was the Hawk playing the Conestoga Condors. The two teams played four times in the regular season, with both winning twice. Humber left no doubt as to who was the better team on this day, as they controlled the game immediately, on their way to a 50-0 win. Christina Branch was the Hawk player of the game in the final.
