MEN'S VOLLEYBALL BOLSTER ROSTER WITH ADDITION OF ALBERT

ETOBICOKE, Ont -- The Humber Hawks men's volleyball program is pleased to announce the signing of outside hitter Jacob Albert, announced head coach Wayne Wilkins.

"Jacob comes to us from a successful club team and has a high volleyball IQ," said Coach Wilkins, who led the Hawks to the 2012 national title. "He brings along a unique skill set which will allow him to play a number of different positions for us at the next level."

The six-foot-four native of Georgetown, Ont., joins the Hawks from the Georgetown High School Rebels, and the Pakmen Volleyball Club.

"Volleyball runs deep in the Albert family, and we are expecting big things from Jacob in the future," added Coach Wilkins.

Albert has enrolled in the Theatre Arts – Performance program, a three-year advanced diploma at Humber College.

"Humber has the best theatre program in the province," said Albert, when asked why he chose Humber College. "I am currently training to do anything revolving theatre acting, directing, and playwriting."

Albert will join incoming recruit Eric Renaud for the upcoming 2018-19 varsity season, as they look to make the OCAA playoffs for the 27th straight year. Last season, the Hawks captured the programs 14th provincial medal.
