Last Year

Humber successfully defended its provincial title, winning the program's 11th team gold at Crimson Ridge golf course. Hayley McCallum became just the sixth female OCAA golfer to repeat as the individual champion, shooting a final round-low four-over-par (76) to win the 54-hole event by seven strokes.

Madison Ouellette shot a final-round 83 to capture the individual silver medal while Elaine Surjoprajogo finished eight strokes back in a tie for third. It was the first time since 2007 that the same school claimed all three medal spots, a feat Humber accomplished 14 years ago.

Chasing history

Hayley McCallum is looking to become the first player in program history to capture three OCAA individual titles. Angela McDonald (1998, 1999) and Adrienne D'Alessio (2013, 2014) are the only other Hawks to win two titles.

McCallum also has a chance to become just the second player – across all sports – to be named a CCAA All-Canadian, four times.

Scouting Humber

With three tournaments under their belt this season, the Hawks have a realistic chance to defend their title for the third straight season. After winning the first two tournaments of the season, the Hawks finished second at the Niagara Invitational – six strokes behind St. Clair.

Best of the best

Since 1999, the Humber women's golf team has captured 11 team and 11 individual titles. Humber's longest team title streak is four (2006 to 2009).

Legends on the Niagara – Battlefield

The imposing Battlefield course is located on the north side of the Legends on the Niagara property. Golf Architect Douglas Carrick created a truly unique course that challenges every level of golfer. The Battlefield course features a nice mix of wide, links-style holes with generous undulating fairways and greens that are bound by dense forest and brush.
