The Storyline
No. 3 Humber women's basketball will begin its national title quest on March 25 in Nanaimo, British Columbia. The Hawks will open the eight-team tournament against the Dawson Blues (10-4, 2nd RSEQ) in the quarter-final round. Tip-off is set for 11 p.m. ET.
Last Time Out
The Hawks captured the program's 11th division one title – 13th total – defeating the St. Clair Saints on their home court, 103-91. The 103 points were four shy of the Humber postseason record. Nikki Ylagan dropped a team record 34 points and was named to the all-tournament team with Kia Watt. Miea Campbell-Johnson was named the tournament MVP.
Scouting Dawson
- The Blues fell to Saint-Lambert in the RSEQ final, earning a spot at nationals as a wild card.
- The RSEQ is a national power in women's basketball, capturing 29 national titles. Alberta sits second with nine.
- Aicha Dia finished eighth in the conference in scoring, averaging 10. Points per game.
- The Hawks beat Dawson in the 2018 national title game, capturing the gold medal for the second time in three years with a 68-61 victory.

Coach Sharma made his nationals debut at the 2015 tournament in Nanaimo. Humber made only its second final four appearance in program history, falling to Holland in the bronze medal game.

As the OCAA Player of the Year, Miea Campbell-Johnson is in the running to become just the second player in program history to earn national player of the year honours. The CCAA will announce award winners on March 24, and MCJ will receive her All-Canadian award before the game.
