The Storyline
No. 4 Humber women's basketball will make its 31st consecutive postseason appearance Wednesday evening against Seneca (0-8, 8th East). Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.
The Matchup
The Hawks and the Sting will be meeting for the third time this season. Humber won both games by an average score of 52.5 points.
The last time these programs met in the postseason, Humber beat Seneca 66-43 in the 2013 bronze semifinal game.
Scouting Seneca
- Katrina Martin led the team in scoring, averaging 14.5 PPG this season.
- The Hawks are 9-3 all-time against Seneca in the postseason, however the Sting have won three of the last four.
- Seneca's last OCAA medal was a silver in 2013.
Grad Night
Prior to tip-off, Humber will be recognizing four student-athletes who are competing in their final season in the navy and gold:

Triple Threat
For the first time in program history, Humber basketball had three players average over 20 points in a season. Miea Campbell-Johnson (23.6), Kia Watt (21.8), and Nikki Ylagan (20.2) all finished top-five in scoring this season.
All-Timer
Fifth-year senior Miea Campbell-Johnson concludes her career as one of the top players in program history. The 2018 national champion is first all-time in blocks, second in rebounds and third in scoring. Her 3.4 blocks and 17.6 rebounds this season are new program records.
Playoff Performance
- The Hawks are 21-8 in the OCAA postseason during the Coach Sharma era.
- Humber will be appearing in its 31st consecutive postseason. The last time the Hawks failed to qualify for the playoffs was during the 1989-90 season, after finishing their first season in Division I with a 5-7 record.
Showtime
In her second season with the Hawks, Kia Watt led the conference with 7.0 assists-per-game, tying Ceejay Nofuente's record from 2018.
Freshman Phenom
Sarah Baptie put together an impressive rookie campaign, leading the conference with a 57.9 field goal percentage. She finished third in 3-point percentage and sixth in steals.
From Deep
Nikki Ylagan hit 11 triples in Humber's season finale win over Loyalist – two shy of the program record set by Ceejay Nofuente in 2018. Her 41.3 percentage from deep is good for third all-time, only trailing Makeba Taylor (51.6 percent – 2018) and Aycha Hamaoui (44.0 percent – 2012).
At the Helm
In his tenth season, Coach Sharma is 21-8 all-time in OCAA postseason action. During his tenure, the Hawks have captured two national championships and four provincial titles. The Hawks have finished the regular season undefeated four times during the Coach Sharma era.
