The Storyline

Humber softball (9-3, 2nd OCAA) will conclude its regular-season home schedule Wednesday against Mohawk (2-10, 7th OCAA) at Connorvale Park. Game one is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.

Final Farewell

Wednesday will be the last regular-season home game for Alexa Vassos, Kadyn Wotton, Hayley Pasma, Breanna Oliver, and Jessica MacPherson. The group helped Humber capture the 2019 provincial championship and has played in 193 regular season games wearing the Humber 'H', combined.

At nationals in British Columbia, the Hawks slugged eight home runs in six games, highlighted by four big flies from Hayley Pasma.

Record Race

Pasma and Alexis Ferreira currently sit on three home runs this season. The next big fly from one of these players will set a new program single-season record.

Petty Theft

Humber is averaging the highest stolen bases per game this season, with Christina D'Angelo's six thefts the fourth-most in the province.

What's Next?

The Hawks will head on the road to conclude the season with a four-game road trip against Seneca (3-11, 6th OCAA) on Oct. 14 and Fanshawe (6-6, 3rd OCAA) on Oct. 16.
