North Intramural Ice Hockey

2 semester league October 2023-March 2024 (play continues from the fall semester into the winter semester)
17-game season (no play on long weekends or during academic breaks)
Games played at Westwood Arena
5 v 5 (plus goalies)
2 on-ice officials per game; 2 off-ice officials including league convenor & timekeeper present for all contests
12-12-12-minute stop-time periods (scheduled in 50-minute time slots; 3-minute warm up)
Scores, attendance & player stats recorded for all contests.
Jerseys are provided.

Participants must...

abide by the Humber Student Code of Conduct & adhere to rules, policies & procedures set out by the Athletics Department, including injury assessment processes & Return to Play protocols.
review the Rowan's Law Concussion Awareness Resources & submit a signed Concussion Awareness Resources Confirmation Receipt to campusrec@humber.ca prior to the first game.
provide their own ice hockey equipment (including approved protective gear, sticks, warm up pucks, water bottles, etc.). Shoulder pads, neck guards & approved helmets with full cages & chin straps must be worn by participants. Half-visors are not permitted.

Fall 2023 Registration: August 28, 2023-October 23, 2023 (or until spaces are full)

6 team / 96 individual player spots (space is extremely limited & is available on a first come, first served basis).
Minimum team roster size is 14 participants. Maximum team roster size is 16 participants.
Each team entry must include 1 full-time goalie. Individual goalies will be assigned to teams requiring one.
Particiption Fee is $339+HST/individual (payable in-person only).
