Etobicoke - Darren graduated from Humber’s police foundations program and is currently in the hiring process for the Peel Police! Darren was a member of our extramural basketball team during his time at Humber. As he goes through the process with Peel Police he has been working for Canada Post shipping all the online orders. Darrens goal for 2021 is to try and volunteer or donate more often to those in need.

His favourite colour is blue and he loves some good pasta and sushi. Darren also enjoy the summer since it’s the perfect time for road trips and bike rides. His favourite athlete is Stephen Curry and he love the TV series Money Heist.

To Darren extramurals is “something that I can look forward to after I am done classes or studying. Also, it’s a good way meet new people that have the same interests as you around the campus or outside your program and stay in shape!”

He said “My favourite memory from Humber Lakeshore Athletics was creating a bond with my teammates and playing in hard fought comeback games to hitting game winning shots to even just laughing around with them!”

Darrens tip for students is to never be shy to ask any questions or try things outside of your comfort zone. He says to “go do all the activities that athletics hosts because I had fun in all of the ones I participated in!”
