On a difficult track at Deer Creek Golf Club, Hayley McCallum went the distance, capturing her first individual CCAA national title. In a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard after round one, McCallum used a two-over par 74 to give herself a seven-stroke lead and never looked back.

The Mississauga native was the only golfer in the field to score in the seventies every round and became just the second female golfer in program history to win the individual title. To add to her already impressive resume, McCallum earned CCAA All-Canadian honours for the fourth time in her career, becoming just the second player - across all sports - to accomplish the feat.

Humber men's golf, one of the most distinguished programs in school history, has a long winning tradition - including ten national titles from 2001 to 2012. After such a run, the program had a drought with only three podium finishes over the next ten years. That all changed this week, and Matthew Bremer was a big factor why.  The big lefty opened the tournament by shooting an even-par 71 at the difficult Deer Creek Golf Course.

With tough weather conditions on moving day, the Toronto native moved up three spots to the top and never looked back. With a two-stroke lead, Bremer fired a one-under-par 70 to secure the individual title - becoming the first Humber player to stand atop the podium since Hall of Famer Adrian Cord in 2011.
