Bremer, McCallum Earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week Honours
Golfer's Hayley McCallum and Matthew Bremer earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for Sept. 12-18.

It didn't take long for Hayley McCallum to show the league she was back to defend her individual provincial title for the second straight year. McCallum shot an even-par 72 to win the first tournament of the season, defeating teammate Madison Ouellette by five strokes at Roseland Golf Club.
It's McCallum's fourth OCAA tournament win for her career and her fifth Humber Athlete of the Week nod.

Matthew Bremer left his mark last season with Humber golf, capturing an individual CCAA bronze medal in 2021, tying a program record five-under par (67) along the way.
On Friday at Roseland Golf Club, Bremer tied his career round-low, firing another five-under par (67) to win his first-ever tournament for the Hawks.
For Bremer, it's his second career Humber Athlete of the Week selection.
