Bio

Michael, a guard for the Hawks men’s basketball team, was as complete a player the Hawks have ever seen, combining an excellent offensive touch with a tenacious defensive presence.  He accomplished something rarely seen in college sport, and that was the fact that he won OCAA Provincial championships in each of his three years at Humber. During the 2009-10 season, he led the Hawks to a CCAA Bronze medal. He was twice named an OCAA all-star and was the 2011 OCAA championship most valuable player.

Humber Highlights

• During the 2010-11 season, Acheampong led the team in scoring and rebounds, becoming the 23rd member of Humber's 500-point club.
• His 11.7 scoring average was the 16th-best mark in program history at the conclusion of his career.
