LONDON – Humber cross country inched closer to being ready for provincials, as both teams finished fourth at the Fanshawe Invitational. On Oct. 5, the Hawks continued their impressive 2019 campaign at the Fanshawe Conservation Area, and have yet to even hit their peak this season.
Kaleigh Bush led the women's six-kilometre race for Humber, placing in the top-10 once again. Freshman Megan Raso narrowly missed her first top-10 finish, finishing just 16 seconds off the pace.
Humber will have one final tune-up before provincials, racing at Ashtonbee Reservoir on Oct. 19.
