2019 OCAA Hall of Fame Inductee - Joanna Alexopulos

Joanna Alexopulos is one of the most decorated female soccer players in OCAA history. The five-year midfielder won five provincial outdoor medals (two gold, one silver and two bronze), five provincial indoor medals (two gold, two silver and one bronze) and two CCAA national outdoor bronze medals.

Individually, Joanna was a two-time CCAA All-Canadian and won multiple OCAA All-Star awards. Joanna was an honours student and was recognized as a two-time CCAA Academic All-Canadian. Named Humber Female Varsity Athlete of the Year in 2011, Joanna has also attained the highest honour bestowed to a Humber athlete, as her jersey has been honoured and a banner raised in the Athletic Centre.

Joanna was named an OCAA Championship All-Star as a rookie in 2006, was named the OCAA Defensive Player of the Year in the West and Central West Divisions in 2008, and was a two-time OCAA All-Academic in 2009 and 2010.

Humber did not suffer a regular season loss when Joanna was a member of the outdoor team, going 40-0-6.
