HAWKS FACE FIRST TEST AS REGIONALS OPEN ON MONDAY AT REDEEMER

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's indoor soccer team, winners of the last two consecutive OCAA titles and a record nine in all, will take to the pitch at Redeemer University College on Monday, March 4/19 in search of yet another OCAA crown.

By random draw, Humber has been placed in a pool with Conestoga College (Kitchener, ON), Sault College (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) and the host Redeemer Royals (Ancaster, ON).

The top two teams after round-robin play will advance to the 2019 OCAA Championships, which will be hosted by Humber at the Ontario Soccer Centre (OSA) on March 21st and 22nd.

For those who are new to the indoor soccer game, the teams will play six-aside (5 players and a keeper), with on-the-go line changes. The game length is two-twenty minute halves, and will include penalties as seen in hockey.
