Rugby Sevens Opens ’19 Campaign in Full Stride

KITCHENER – The defending champions opened up the 2019 season, sweeping its first tournament of the year. The Hawks outscored their opponents, 98-7, and easily established themselves once again as the premier program in the province.

Cheyenne De Luca led all scorers for Humber, finishing the day with 34 points and moved into second all-time on the OCAA career scoring list.

All-star Christina Branch finished the day with 25 points and became the first player in OCAA history to surpass 400 career points.

What's Next?
Humber (3-0, 1st West) will return to action Sept. 28 at Sheridan for its second West Tournament of the season. Game one starts at 10 a.m.
