HAWKS SWEEP THEIR WAY TO TOURNAMENT TITLE IN BERMUDA

BERMUDA: The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's team rolled to the tournament championship on Saturday, taking out the host Bermuda squad in the final.

Over their matches, they were only scored on twice, winning most matches in shutout fashion.

They will return home early this week and then attend another spring tournament in Kingston.

Humber College, a varsity program from Toronto, proved as strong, fast and organized as predicted winning an extremely well contested final against Bermuda. Bermuda Women gave the Hawks all they could handle scoring first to take a 5-0 lead. Humber played tenacious defense all weekend. Their D proved to be too much for the Longtails of Bermuda. In the end it was Humber 22 Bermuda 5. Humber's Seconds defeated Colgate for third. Humber was impressive all weekend.
