No. 11 Humber women's basketball (7-1, 2nd West) took care of business at the North Campus Gym, extending their win streak to seven with an 82-44 victory against the Redeemer Royals (2-7, 9th West) Wednesday evening.

For the second straight game, Humber tied its season-high with 21 assists.  A total of four players finished in double figures. Leticia Lopez continued her stellar play by notching her first double-double of the season, finishing 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jaime Gordon recorded her first career double-double, finishing with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Eboni Beals had a big night off the bench for the Hawks, notching nine points and eight rebounds in the win.

The Hawks defensive performance has been unstoppable as of late, holding the Royals below 25 percent for the third time this season. Humber's top-ranked defence finished the game with a total of 16 steals and a season-high seven blocks.

It seems as if the chemistry seems to grow game by game for Humber, showing improvement as the season ages.

Two-time national champion head coach Ajay Sharma is now one win away from becoming the first coach in program history to win 150 career games.

What's Next?
No. 11 Humber will conclude the first half of the regular season on Dec. 1 when St. Clair (5-2, 4th West) visits the North Campus Gym. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. and will be streamed live the Hawks Sports Network.
